My birthday is coming up and having a 5 and 7 year old means birthdays are big deals. The boys want to know what I want and are going to drag Louis all over town to find the perfect drugstore or dollar store gift, I am sure. Last night Louis and I are sitting on the couch and we are talking about upcoming birthday celebrations...Nolan leans on my legs with wide eyes, his hands clasped together...as if he has the biggest, best idea in the whole world. He leans into me and says, "Mom, I know what I am going to get you for your birthday....PRINCESS SHOES...that will be so cool!" I am beaming and laughing all at once, because poor Lou is going to have to go in search of the perfect princess shoes with sparkles and all in a Ladies size 10. Ha!
On to some more big news....
I am proud to announce my first cover of Savannah Weddings Magazine --on newstands now. Thanks to Annabelle and Michelle for providing their thoughts and giving me artistic license. You are wonderful to work with and I look forward to many more shoots with you.

It was Sue's birthday and all she wanted was pictures with her grandkids. Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

One of the most wonderful things about my job is when a bride and groom are so happy with my work...they bring their kids back...and I become part of their family.
Such is the case with Shelley and Gary Davis. Their adorable kids, Quinn and Walker, were so fun and I love the shot of them and the sucker. Sharing among siblings...what a beautiful sight.
Thanks for being true blue, Shelley and Gary. You are the best.

Months and months go by and you know damn well I've got weddings up my sleeve. Here is a sweet one from June. Emily and Kyle planned their wedding long distance from Houston and it was a blast. Of course, the Mansion, Amy Harvey and lots of fun.
This is one of my all time favorites...the look in her father's eyes..because Emily is his only daughter.
