I love when a bridesmaid becomes a bride...and that is my sweeet bride, Allison. Seems like a few short years ago, we were having a fabulous time at Palmetoo Bluff at Carrie and Eli's wedding.
Now, Allison and Pat are getting married in two short months. We took some time on a chilly, damp winter day to explore Wormsloe.
Pat kept us laughing and we had a great time...mud or no mud. Cannot wait until the wedding. I am so honored!
My neighbor at the studio is the extraordinary stylist, Mitchell Hall. He is the Creative Director of Bleubelle here in Savannah and his 15 minutes were spent on Season 6 of Project Runway. In Savannah, he is the "go to" guy for all the women who insist on style and always looking spectacular. He has got the knack...the gift...the eye! And together, we are unabashedly slaves to certain labels....
I have been begging him to do a new headshot because the one from Project Runway was dreadful. It was not my Mitchell! See...
He refuses...well, not actually refuses, but he always seems extremely busy when I have a Nikon on my shoulder.
So today --I caught him in a weak moment --by surprise. And finally...an image that does him some justice.
And for those of you who are fans...come see Mitchell at Evening With The Experts, March 8 in Westin Hilton Head. He is making a special appearance and bringing a few bridal gowns along!

It seems like forever and a day ago that Kelli and I were in Captiva Island for the amazing wedding of Michael and Kristen. If you have ever been to Captiva, then you know the location is breathtaking and it is a bit remote. You almost feel like you've been let in on a very cool secret. It made the whole event extra special as Kristen's family has a home on the Island.
I've known Michael for years...met him through my husband, Lou. He is a wonderful, salt of the earth, kind of guy. He has been to visit us in Savannah while traveling the states for residency and I was over the moon when he called to say he was getting married. In a stroke of luck, I was able to meet Kristen before the wedding and LOVED her!
This wedding was so special for me. They are so in love and had so much respect for the commitment they were making. The evening was was full of love, wonderful toasts, dancing, fabulous food and romance. If only --we could do it again...
